Location and amenities:
The Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort is located on Siladen, the smallest island of the Sulawesi Bunaken Marine Park. There are no cars or roads here - but a wonderful tranquillity that invites you to relax and explore. And as an extra bonus, the resort, which opened in 2017, offers a breathtaking view of Bunaken Island and the coast of North Sulawesi.

The resort has 8 spacious bungalows spread over the extensive grounds and equipped with air conditioning, bathroom and minibar. The 2 Garden Family Cottages (60 m²) have a floor-to-ceiling window front and partial sea view and are particularly suitable for families and holidays with friends with a second bedroom. An extra-large open-air bathroom with rain shower and a cosy seating area on the terrace with hammock make the stay perfect.

The 4 Beach View Cottages (42 m2 ) are only a few steps away from the beach and offer a view of the sea and the volcanic landscape of North Sulawesi thanks to a large glass front. The 2 detached Beach Villas (42 m2 ) are located directly on the beach and in a particularly quiet location at the end of the resort. They offer a direct view of the sea and are suitable for romantic dream holidays.

Furthermore, 4 superior rooms are available on the upper floor of the main building. They offer a choice of views of the jungle and palm groves behind the resort or of the sea. Extra beds can easily be accommodated in the spacious rooms, so that up to 3 people can sleep here.

The spa is located on the upper floor of the dive centre. Here, experienced therapists offer a variety of massages and treatments. In addition, a small gym with equipment and weights awaits guests at Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort who still have enough energy after a day of diving or snorkelling.

Restaurant:
The restaurant serves dishes from Indonesian and international cuisine. The mainly Western-style breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of bread, cold cuts and jams, as well as cereals, egg dishes and tropical fruits. For lunch and dinner, guests may choose from a daily changing menu.

A wide selection of cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks are offered in the beach bar, which is located next to the swimming pool directly on the beach. It is not uncommon to hear musical accompaniment from the staff as they spontaneously perform traditional songs from the region. A billiard table ensures that there is no chance of boredom beyond that.

Diving:
Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort on Siladen Island is located in the heart of the Coral Triangle, the most biodiverse marine region in the world. Nestled between the Celebes and Moluccas Seas, Siladen Island is part of the Bunaken Marine Park, one of the best dive sites in the world, and offers Kuda Laut Resort and its guests numerous dive sites and snorkelling spots that can be reached within a short journey from the resort. Besides a variety of fish species, colourful coral gardens, drop-offs and slopes await the enthusiastic diver here. 

The Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort is serviced by the Celebes Divers dive centre (SSI centre). A large drying room, an air-conditioned camera room and high-quality diving and snorkelling equipment await you on site. To protect the reef in front of the resort, no jetty was built - all boats moor on the beach. Boat dives are mainly in the Bunaken Marine National Park and all dives are planned as drift dives. Alternatively, divers can go diving at the house reef, a beautiful wall. Night and twilight dives, with the chance of seeing mandarin fish, are also offered.

The boats have a large covered seating and dressing area, a sun deck and a toilet. They can accommodate 6 to 14 divers. The trained boat crew ensures a high level of safety - oxygen and first aid kits are available - and provides the divers with drinks and snacks. A maximum of 4 divers dive with one guide. As an SSI Instructor Training Centre, the dive centre offers all diving courses from introductory diving to instructor level. Snorkelling courses and SSI ecology courses are also available.
