Location and amenities:
The Gangga Island Resort and Spa is located on the southern tip of Gangga Island and is approximately 20 minutes from the North Sulawesi coast. The resort is located directly on the beach and impresses with a wonderful view of the Celebes Sea and the surrounding islands. It is a wonderful place to arrive, let go and enjoy.
Geared towards the more discerning holidaymaker, the resort offers all sorts of amenities with a high level of comfort. In addition to a well-equipped resort bar, you will also have access to a laundry service, a library and a wellness spa during your stay. In addition, numerous beach loungers and a large saltwater infinity pool provide additional relaxation. For underwater enthusiasts, there is also an incredibly wide range of maritime diversity in one of the best diving areas in the world - as an alternative to relaxing.
The 30 bungalows, built in Minahasa style, are elegantly and comfortably furnished: air conditioning and ceiling fans ensure a pleasant indoor climate. Televisions with international channels, bathrooms with hot water, tea and coffee making facilities, mosquito nets, safes and minibars complete the comfort. The bungalows come with either a king-size bed or two single beds. Each bungalow also has a spacious terrace - some with sea views. The deluxe bungalows are more modernly furnished and more comfortably equipped. They also have, among other things, a rain shower and a daybed on the veranda. There is also access to the Internet in the lobby.

Restaurant:
In the cozy resort restaurant you will be treated to a wonderful combination of local and international cuisine. Fish dishes in particular are on the program. Special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian or vegan food, can also be accommodated here. It's best to indicate when booking if you have any special dietary preferences or intolerances.
Diving:
The Gangga Island Resort & Spa has its own 5-star diving center, which operates according to the best PADI standards and, in addition to well-trained staff, also values good equipment; Rental equipment from Aqualung is in use here. And the staff is skilled in both maintenance and repairs. Depending on the number of people interested in diving and snorkeling, boats of different sizes are available for each trip. At the end of each dive there is a camera room that is well designed for cleaning and maintenance of the photographic equipment used. Introductory or refresher courses as well as various PADI special diving courses can also be completed in the resort's own diving school.
As a member of the North Sulawesi Watersports Association (NSWA), Gangga Island Resort is committed to protecting local reefs and participating in conservation and development projects designed to help local communities develop sustainable tourism activities.
The Gangga Island Resort & Spa is an ideal starting point for diving and snorkeling, as its location means you can look forward to well over 30 first-class dive sites. The Bangka Archipelago is, so to speak, on your doorstep. And the Bunaken Marine Park and the Lembeh Straits can each be reached in about 75 minutes from Gangga Resort. Discover a wonderful variety of marine life, some of which are rare. Intact reefs, lively underwater grass meadows, sophisticated drop-off walls with soft corals and lots of hard corals are waiting for you here. And in addition to reef sharks, napoleon fish and pygmy seahorses, you will also find the rare Bobtail Squid (Euprymna berryi) in this exotic underwater world. This small, nocturnal cephalopod can imitate the moonlight. Actually intended as camouflage, it attracts divers, underwater photographers and international marine biologists alike.
