Typically, travel enquiries reach us through our contact page. After you submitted your travel enquiry, you'll receive an immediate confirmation. We will usually get back to you within 1-3 days to discuss your travel request or talk through your ideas. This is done either by phone or, if you prefer, by email.
Once we've sketched out an initial itinerary, we contact our local guides and resort hotels. This can sometimes take a little time, especially if the guides themselves are currently on tour and staying in areas with little or no internet access, which is not uncommon on jungle, birdwatching, or volcano tours.
You will then promptly receive update on whether your planned itinerary is currently possible as well as an alternative proposal if certain activities are not currently feasible in the originally intended form, for example due to recent weather conditions or volcanic activities. You can still adjust the itinerary at any stage.
Once the itinerary feels right, we prepare your personal quote. You'll then have the opportunity to review the details and fine-tune the trip until everything fits perfectly.
Our tailor-made Indonesia tours are privately guided and created exclusively for you and your travel companions. They can be individually customized according to your wishes and combined with each other. Throughout your tour, you'll have your own private guide. If you'd like to visit island regions that are far apart, it makes sense to rely on a local guide from that particular island region, who will then either take over from there or (and this is something we can discuss) continue to accompany you together with your guide from the first part of your journey. This kind of arrangement is particularly useful for birdwatching tours or journeys focused on wildlife observation.
